Personally I think it is silly and unnecessary. My cars already have perfectly good names from the factory. :P

Loneliness strikes again... Maybe it's just the project I have hanging over my head, but I am reminded again of how much I want someone to be there for me. Not to mention having a warm body to snuggle up against tonight would be really nice... Sigh...

Picked up a wonderful little NAD 3150 integrated amplifier over the weekend, hence completing (at least for now) my modular stereo stack. I hooked them up to Kal's Vandersteen model ones this week and it sounds awesome!

Oh my ungodly fucking hell! What a miserable day! Spending 16 hours at school is not fun, especially when the majority of it is spent waiting for your project partners to show up. I will be just too glad to get the fuck out of the college of design at the end of this semester. Experiences like this have made staying up all night working on a paper seem like bliss.

I received the second component to my beginnings of modular stereo today. A Nakamichi OMS-1a CD deck. Perhaps I am growing loyal to said brand.. I got it on ebay for a cool 22 bucks and aside from a sticky disk tray, it works perfectly. Kal was even impressed when we popped it open and found a lot of very thoughtfully laid out circuitry and test ports! Oh the days when electronics were serviceable...

My growing collection: Note just the Nak tape and CD deck are mine, the rest is Kal's.

So after finding out that Autodesk's Autocad 2010 doesn't have a Linux version and wouldn't install unless all the windows updates were current, I now find that It won't install on a system without an SSE 2 compliant processor. Go fuck yourself Autodesk!
